WOOSTER COLTS
BATTALION
DRILL TEAM
Who Are We and What We Do:
JROTC Special Teams is an extracurricular class that is after school on Mon.-Tues. and Thurs.-Fri. and is part of the JROTC Program here at Earl Wooster High School. What we do in this class is a drill team that competes against other schools in Reno at drill meets like Panther Challenge. We practice on improving on drill commands, learn with rifles (of course fake) and regulation. This also teaches many how to be a leader in a way to keep people in shape to handle commands and act in a way to take part in activities. In this class you can earn varsity credit to the team, earning you a letter and certificate of being in Special Teams. Many of the people that go to this class treat everyone as family, even if we have one of those days. Only cadets enrolled in JROTC are permitted to enter this class if they want more extracurricular activites or are interested. Anyone is welcome to join!
